It’s time to get ready for our next maneuver to save Bomb Girls. Starting September 13, 2013, we will launch our next campaign and give you all the details on what we have in store, so check back here at savebombgirls.com in just about a week.

US viewers will now have the chance to watch Bomb Girls season 2 on Netflix. It has been added to their streaming content, but only in the United States. Please share this and tell everyone you know. There may be a slight chance that Netflix could save Bomb Girls, so the more views season 2 gets, the better!

Bomb Girls fans in Great Britain have reason to rejoice: Season 1 will be released in the UK on October 7, 2013. Same as the Dutch DVD set that was released last year, this is a Region Code 2 version, thus only playable in Europe, Middle East and Japan.

Amazon UK currently lists it at around £14; it’s available for pre-order there. It’s as of yet unclear if there’s any extras on the set, and if so, what kind.

Charlotte Hegele just single-handedly made our day when she tweeted a photo of our Victory Bandana this morning and also thanked us all individually. We’re very happy it has found a good home!

We shall gladly pass on the kind words to all the other Bomb Girls fans, because we agree: certainly a most dedicated and passionate audience.

In case you missed it, there’s been a change in staff where the Bomb Girls movie is concerned. Michael MacLennan announced over Twitter that he would no longer be writing the movie. While this came as quite a surprise, it doesn’t mean that the movie is on hold. Another writer will take over, and both Michael MacLennan and Back Alley Films have confirmed that the movie is going ahead (see below).

It is not clear when exactly the movie will start shooting, or when it will be airing. Fingers crossed that it will still move into production this year!

The Canadian Season 2 DVD set cover art has now been revealed, and you can see add these lovely ladies to your DVD collection before long. As already announced, amazon.ca offers the DVDs on pre-order. They are released in Canada on Oct 8, 2013.

American fans can also rejoice: Season 1 finally comes to DVD in the US on Sep 3, 2013. List price is $24.99, amazon.com currently offers the set on pre-order for $19.99.
